More About Us - Pisgah House of Prayer
Pisgah House of Prayer (Bible believing Christian Prayer group) is led by Andy and Gill M----- who have been based in Llanelli South Wales for 27 years. We have been married for 24 years and have both lived in Llanelli for over 27 years.
Pisgah House of Prayer is a multi - denominational praying group/community of Christians. We use social media (facebook page Pisgah House of Prayer) and email etc in communication of prophetic encouragements and general prayer requests as well as monthly meetings as necessary. We are self-supporting through our own contributions which only cover the costs of putting on meetings in a venue and refreshments etc for our meetings.
We seek only to express the will of God in all that we do as God reveals His will to us through worship, prayer, prophecy and the written Word of God seeking the Lord's plans and purposes in this hour, and to prepare the way for the King of Glory till He comes to dwell and transform His people in Wales, the UK and the world.
Pisgah House of prayer group/community derived its name from when we were was formed at the end of 2010 in in Pisgah Chapel in Loughor where we met once a week. When the building became unfit for use just a couple of months into 2011 we moved to St Michael's Hall Kindly rented to us by the local minister in Loughor where we met and prayed till 2015.
Pisgah Chapel was was built in 1895 as a schoolhouse (from moriah Chapel) on the estate where Evan Roberts the revivalist of 1904 lived. Evan and his family and friends prayed from 1895 onwards, through the Welsh revival of 1904.
We continued to believe that God would restore this key revival Chapel (Pisgah) as He had promised. As a prayer group we sowed into the restoration of Pisgah Chapel in 2013-2014.
The chapel was finally purchased in 2014 by a charitable organisation and then finally excellently restored in 2016 to its former glory by an international church called Cornerstone Church Singapore.
They have also recently restored the Bible college of Wales in Swansea which was the former Rees Howells the intercessor college before and during and after the second world war.

ISAIAH 58:12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
Pisgah schoolhouse (Chapel) was believed to have been built and opened in 1895 by the 1904 revivalist Evan Roberts and his Father to reach the children in the area who did not attend chapel with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The expenses of £300 were said to have been raised from the revivalist's own personal savings. It is believed he earned five shillings each day from the colliery. The land was donated by the owner of the local colliery.
Evan Roberts was one of the leaders of the Welsh revival in 1904. He was a visionary, a carrier of the Lord's presence, a man of prayer and a revivalist. His family and friends were also prayer warriors and missionaries.
The name 'Pisgah' is mentioned in Deuteronomy chapter 34 verse 1. From this place 'Pisgah peak' on mount Nebo, Moses viewed the whole of the promised land of Canaan.
In 1900 a new venture was launched by Evan Roberts at Pisgah. This was called 'Cylch Gweddi' (Prayer circle). Its aim was to teach young men for public worship and service and to pray for a great move of God in the land.
Evan Roberts was recorded as saying that he had been given a vision from the Lord of a hundred thousand souls being saved. He obviously stood on his 'Pisgah Peak' praying whilst viewing his Promised Land of salvation in Wales!
More about the journey can be found on the Journey Tab on the menu
In this season (2016-2017) we have occasionally taken Pisgah House of Prayer on the road, meeting at strategic revival sites and wells at appointed times as the Lord On March the 12th 2016 we met at Woodstock Pembrokeshire to break bread and pray and worship.
This chapel was built in 1751 by Howel Davies ‘The Apostle of Pembrokeshire’. His ‘open air’ congregations here at this location often numbered many thousands.
Soon after the chapel was built, George Whitefield (New Methodism leader) was passing through on a preaching tour and on Davies’ invitation, administered the Lord’s Supper for the first time in this area in this New Methodist movement growing in the 1740-1750s.
Communion services were held regularly in shifts as thousands gathered regularly and could not fit in the chapel.
Howel Davies often met with Daniel Rowlands from Llangeitho and William Williams who were both leaders of New Methodism at this time.
See the 2016 reports tab for the meetings and the vision 2016 tab for more information.
We will continue to meet at sites around Wales for prayer praise and intercession once a month minimum. We will keep you informed of these days of worship. We will also join with other gatherings around Wales to fuel intercession worship and praise in our land. We will keep you informed of our specific trips and also those gatherings that we intend to join in with or participate in.

Key Scripture Verses
Prayer and Humility
2 Chronicles 7:1 When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. 2 The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. 3 When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying,
“He is good; his love endures forever.”
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. 16 I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
Psalm 85 says
"1 You, Lord, showed favour to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
2 You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.
3 You set aside your entire wrath and turned from your fierce anger.
4 Restore us again, God our Saviour, and put away your displeasure toward us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
6 Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
7 Show us your unfailing love, Lord, and grant us your salvation."
PLEASE DO IT AGAIN LORD! Revive us again!
8 I will listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants— but let them not turn to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.
10 Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
13 Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.
Greater Glory has been promised! God has promised us that if we pray and seek His face He will send greater Glory on the latter house and that 'The desired of all nations will come!'
Haggai 2: 3 ‘Who of you is left who saw this house in its former glory? How does
it look to you now? Does it not seem to you like nothing?
4 But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work. For I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.
5 ‘This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.’
6 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the
7 I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty.
8 ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.
9 ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty.
‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
Isaiah 58:12. 'Our people will rebuild the ancient ruins. We will restore the age old foundations, and we will be called 'repairer of the broken walls and restorer of streets with dwellings.
Isaiah 49: 8-9
In the time of my favour I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, to say to the captives ‘Come out,’ and to those in darkness, ‘be free!’
We believe that He will come just as He promised and dwell with His people affecting this nation with His presence resulting in many salvations, revival in the church and awakening in the Nations.
Heb 12:1-3 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Joshua 1: 3 and 9
“I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Gal 6: 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up!
We believe worship is key Numbers 21:16-18
16 From there they continued on to Beer, the well where the Lord said to Moses, “Gather the people together and I will give them water.”
17 Then Israel sang this song:
“Spring up, O well! Sing about it,
18 about the well that the princes dug, that the nobles of the people sank— the nobles with scepters and staffs.”
We need to gather and sing to the well of salvation, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings that the King of Glory may come in.
Psalm 24/7 Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty — he is the King of glory.
We have a Call to 24-7 prayer and worship. House of Prayer.
Isaiah 56:7 says " I will bring them to my Holy Mountain of Jerusalem and will fill them with joy in my house of prayer. I will accept their burnt offerings and sacrifices, because my Temple will be called a House of Prayer for all Nations.
Haggai 1:12 Then Zerubbabel son of Shieltiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord.
13 Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, gave this message of the Lord to the people: “I am with you,” declares the Lord.
14 So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the Spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the House of the Lord Almighty, their God.
Caleb's Wholehearted belief in the promise of God.
Allotment for Caleb
Joshua 14: 6 Now the people of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God at Kadesh Barnea about you and me.
7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions,
8 but my fellow Israelites who went up with me made the hearts of the people melt in fear. I, however, followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.
9 So on that day Moses swore to me, ‘The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.’
We believe that as God builds His House He would send a Great Youth Awakening to the land and pour out a Great Revival to the Body of Christ in Wales, the UK and the Nations.

At the prayer breakfast at BCW as Pastor Yang shared his heart the Holy Spirit really stirred me when he said that at Christmas they had given hampers to all the neighborhood. He said that remarkably some people gave them back!
All the time that Pastor Yang and Daphne were sharing their passion for Wales and their obvious calling and mantle to accomplish revival restoration in Wales I had been seeing in the Spirit that the Hand of the Lord was stretched out towards us as the church in Wales bearing gifts or hampers to us all. These gifts were in the form of a total physical restoration of the Derwen Fawr Estate, the Bible College of Wales, Pisgah Chapel in Loughor, both key places of revival prayer teaching and empowering of the Body of Christ for service. The resourcing of cross denominational conferences in the city of Swansea and a major one coming next year has been given also.
The Lord impressed on me that Cornerstone Singapore were the vessel of His Hand bringing these gifts to the Land of Wales for revival for the Nation's as once before.
Sadly I felt the Holy Spirit grieving within me over the fact that some of the people in the Church in Wales were rejecting these gifts from the Hand of the Lord by not recognising that this was ONE of the ways God was bringing His restoration to our land through Cornerstone Singapore.
I had to repent on behalf of the Church in our land for this attitude and blindness to what the Lord was doing. "Open our eyes and ears Lord to see and hear the Voice and plans of God in this time and help us to embrace these gifts through these people so that Your Holy Spirit can flow into our land once again" was my prayer.
Many revivals have been missed because the carrier's of the move of God have not been recognised or have been rejected. "Help us Lord not to miss what is being offered from Your hand".
The day after this meeting I remembered what the Lord had said to me in May 2015 (recorded in my diary) on the way to the opening of the Bible College.
Isaiah 14:26 This is the plan determined for the whole world, this is the hand stretched out over all nations.
27 For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him?
His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?
(This refers to the releasing of Israel from the yoke of oppression of the Assyrian verses 24 and 25)
When we met in Pisgah Chapel in May 2011 we prayed the prayer from Acts 4:30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
31After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
After this night the chapel was declared unsafe to meet in and was badly I need of restoration. When the Bible college was opened 4 years later Pisgah Chapel's restoration was nearing completion.
The words of Isaiah 14:26-27 (above) were given as an answer to that prayer and now the Lord's plan for the Nations is being realised!
Yes the Lord has stretched forth his hand and this IS HIS PLAN for the Nation's and HIS PLAN cannot be thwarted!
