Digging the Wells of Revival

Jn 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear

fruit - fruit that will last and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

The following is a log of the general things we prayed for each month from December 2010 to May 2011 in Pisgah Chapel and then the continuation of Pisgah House of Prayer at St Michael's Loughor Jun 2011 to Dec 2012 starting with the oldest meetings first.

                       January 2012 to December 2012

Jan 7th

It was a great start to 2012. Over 20 gathered and Nancy came with Elaine and Moreen before her flight back to Israel. She is living in Jerusalem and is part of the 24-7 prayer house in Jerusalem. She opened up the New Year with prayer for Israel, for the youngsters in the land, for the government, the forces, for salvation using Isaiah 62 in prayer. She informed us that on a Monday at Midday that they pray for 1 hour for the UK and for us as a prayer house in Wales.

She proclaimed the blessings from Deuteronomy 28:1-14 and Numbers 6: 22-24.  After a time of worship we prayed in small groups for the local schools, the Bible Explorer ministries, for all young people in the land after Jeanie gave some great testimonies of what the Lord has started to do in the last few months in the area.

The word on the tab 'Prophetic Words' above was given out, and we were encouraged to press on. Nick and Dawn part of our young Joel's army sang and worshipped on the worship team giving us a cross generational flavour.

Right at the end of the meeting Nancy prayed for our Welsh youth and gave them great encouragement from the Lord. Nancy asked to be prayed for before she left for her flight. During the prayer time an anointing and impartation came from the Lord that felt, and seemed like honey going forth which she said she could see it and feel it. Job 22: 21-30 was a passage that came strongly. These verses contain some amazing prayer promises and promises to carry salvation to those around us, whatever their condition.  Job 22:21 was written across Pisgah Chapel's back wall for all to see and was the first thing that struck you when you entered the chapel.

The following day I studied honey and passages like Rev 10: 8-11 and Ez 3: 1-11 came to mind. Prophetic words from God can taste like honey to the mouth but can be bitter to the stomach sometimes because they can contain the judgements of God which bring nations and people in to line with God's plan so they can repent and find salvation in Christ.

The prophetic words above 2011 and 2012 certainly contain that mixture. We are those who have chosen to accept the fire and to revere His name so we may accomplish the purpose He has set out for us. Malachi Chapter 4

Jan 14th     Many gathered this evening. We worshipped the Lord and we looked at John 15: 1- 8 and 11-17. When we receive the fullness of the word of the Lord it sometimes hard for us to implement it, but the outcome will be astonishing. We are pruned by the Lord.

Useless things/branches that don't bear fruit will be cut off and thrown in the fire and useful branches or things in our lives will be trimmed and so that they become more fruitful. This all results in a great prayer promise that (verse 7-8) if you REMAIN IN ME and MY WORDS REMAIN in you, ASK WHATEVER YOU WISH and it will be given to you". "This will be to the Father's glory, that you bear much fruit showing yourselves to be my disciples". We are reminded in this passage that 'apart from me you can do nothing'.

Verses 16 and 17 say You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. Then the Father will GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME". This is my command 'love each other' - another great prayer promise.

The passage from 1 Cor 10:1-13 shows us warnings from Israel's history and exhorts us to persevere through the temptations because He will provide a way out by which we can stand up to it.

All age groups worshipped and sang and one of the children led 'Give me oil in my lamp keep me burning' at the end of the evening. He was so in the anointing of the spirit that it was like God was encouraging us to keep praying as we did this night too for the local children and this is what will happen to them. The un-churched children will sense the Spirit of God and enter in so naturally to praise the Lord. Psalm 8 contains these verses

 1) O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens,

 2) from the lips of CHILDREN and INFANTS you have ordained praise because of your enemies to silence the foe and the avenger.

We were greatly encouraged by the testimonies from various people of the doors that are being opened in the schools and colleges around the area to take god’s word in them and one testimony we heard was of the college students asking for the lecturer to give her testimony. They all listened intently.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY INTO THESE AREAS.

Jan 21st  We started the evening by praying for one another, for each others needs. Gal 6:2 says 'Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ'. This law is the New Covenant law of love in which all the Ten Commandments and laws have their fulfilment.

Gradually the atmosphere began to change. There was a heavy burden for schools, teachers and lecturers who are under enormous pressure from pupils and parents in some instances. This became our prayer for the evening into schools, colleges that God would protect and open doors through various ministries like Bible Explorers.

At the end of the evening after the presence of God fell in the worship  felt the Lord saying in 2 Chronicles 7:15 'Now my eyes will be open and my ears will be attentive to the prayers offered in this place'.

Jan 28th   After worshipping and inviting the Shekinah Glory to come, the full manifest presence of the Lord to come, Elaine shared on 'How to pray for Israel'. We prayed for God's chosen people and all the surrounding lands, for 24 -7 prayer houses and all praying people around the region to be protected and anointed to carry out God's purposes.

At the end there was a picture received of the tears of Jesus as He was weeping in intercession. Every tear that we shed with him for the lost, for Jerusalem, for His plans will become like a river of life into their lives and rivers of life for whole regions that we pray for by His Spirit.

December 2010 - The foundational meeting

We held the opening evening of prayer, praise and worship on Sat Dec 18th to lay the foundation of the House of Prayer at Pisgah. The snow conditions were extremely difficult but we had 12 people turn up that night, Hallelujah! The Lord's presence was awesome.

He has promised us from Haggai 2:18, 19 "From this day on, (from Dec 18th 2010):-  Give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the Lord's temple was laid', Give careful thought; Is there any seed left in the barn? Until now the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit.

From this day on I will bless you!"

March 2012

March 3rd   Laura brought Joshua chapter 1 encouraging us to take the land flowing with milk and honey on behalf of the people and situations that need it. Joshua 1: 3 and verse 9

“I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses'. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” We are to go and take the land for the captives so they can live and be restored in the land flowing with milk and honey. "Yes I have promised you will see me come and you will lead the captives to take their inheritance in the land, bringing revival and awakening.

This chapter follows on from Deutronomy 34 where Moses saw the Promised Land before he died from the top of Pisgah peak on Mount Nebo on the opposite side of the Jordan. As a prayer house we are praying into the land that the Lord has promised. There was such a confirming anointing flowing on these verses of scripture as though God was saying "Yes I have promised you will see me come and revive the land."

A picture of the Lord's hand stretching forth and touching people, performing miraculous signs and wonders, was given along with Jacob's ladder. There was a heavy tangible presence of the Lord as He met with us and dealt with us. We felt he was dressing us and equipping us for ministry imparting 'Special Grace' for the type of service He was calling us too as well as the Spirit of grace and supplication upon the House of David given in Zechariah 12:10. A confirming word was given that the Lord was washing our feet. This was given to 2 people by one person. All these 3 people were not there 2 weeks ago when the Lord washed our feet around the pool of Bethesda.

Such confirmation that the Lord is opening up the Angelic realm and that we are calling the King of Glory into the land to meet and touch all people paralysed with sin and disease both in pisgah house of prayer meetings and out anywhere where we set our foot. (I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses'). Psalm 27 was focussed

A person turned up after He felt that God was leading him to intercede for revival. He was one of our old friends who opened his house for prayer every morning 18 years ago. He felt his prayer for guidance was answered and when remarked on the heavy presence of God during the meeting.

We finished by singing 'There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood' so that the people in the land would hear it, and singing 'There's no place I would rather be, than here in Your love'.

March 10th    The presence of God was tangible as we worshipped the lord. We prayed for 1 hour and it did not feel like it. We are signed up to Prayer Storm (see tab on links page) to pray for 1 hour in Wales as part of the global network and we prayed for children and Israel and families. We prayed for our close families as sometimes these are the hardest to pray for.

Isaiah 58: 7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear;

then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

March 17th   This evening was a mighty time soaking and praying in the presence of God using CD's and live worship. God was visiting his people and marinating us with His presence. God's call was this:-

Ezekiel 22:30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one. Yes we will stand as watchmen on the wall.

March 24th    We had some vibrant singing and we prayed into the area of employment having been given this word earlier in the day.

March 31st    Tonight we continued to pray for the raising up of the younger generation which were all under 20 years old who with Joshua and Caleb entered and possessed the Promised Land. Our younger generation need prayers, pastoring, equipping to do just this. In Deuteronomy 34 Moses imparted his wisdom and anointing on to Joshua on Pisgah Peak on Mount Nebo.

Deut 34  9 Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the LORD had commanded Moses.

10 Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, 11 who did all those signs and wonders the LORD sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land. 12 For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

Also Pisgah Peak was a place of praying blessing over Israel (Balaam) and of Meeting with God and of receiving prophetic utterance. These things happened at Pisgah.

Num 23: 13 Then Balak said to him, “Come with me to another place where you can see them; you will not see them all but only the outskirts of their camp. And from there, curse them for me.” 14 So he took him to the field of Zophim on the top of Pisgah, and there he built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

15 Balaam said to Balak, “Stay here beside your offering while I meet with him over there.” 16 The LORD met with Balaam and put a word in his mouth and said, “Go back to Balak and give him this word.” 17 So he went to him and found him standing beside his offering, with the Moabite officials. Balak asked him, “What did the LORD say?” 18 Then he spoke his message: “Arise, Balak, and listen;  hear me, son of Zippor. 19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil?

20 I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it. 21 “No misfortune is seen in Jacob, no misery observed in Israel. The LORD their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them.   22 God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox.

23 There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob

and of Israel, ‘See what God has done!’  24 The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till it devours its prey and drinks the blood of its victims.” 25 Then Balak said to Balaam, “Neither curse them at all nor bless them at all!” 26 Balaam answered, “Did I not tell you I must do whatever the LORD says?”

April 2012

April 7th  A good number attended the meeting, many prayers offered on behalf of the lost.

April 14th  This wee we had been led to a transcript of a revival in Loughor and Goppa Fach which took place on December 18th/19th 1797, the same date as the foundation of Pisgah House of Prayer and the same date as the second chapter of Haggai. The word spoken to Zerubabbel was the laying of the temple foundation on that day. We also found out that Howell Harris preached at Pontarddulais in 1740 and we were led to a broken down farmhouse were Howell Harris and his non-conformists used to meet for prayer, wow. I was reminded of the text from Jeremiah 6:16

This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.

April 21st  A good number attended the meeting, many prayers offered and some great testimonies to the grace of God.

April 28th  Continuing to obey the voice of God, to remind ourselves of the words and promises that the Lord has spoken in regards to the things he has promised.

May 2012

May 5th     There was a great sense of joy from the Holy Spirit given to all of us as we sang, praised and prayed. We blew the shoffars and sensed great spiritual breakthrough in the atmosphere.

May 12th    We sensed the words of Rev 3 where the Lord knocks at our doors.  20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. 21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches?”

When we let him in He eats with us the Bread of heaven and changes us from the inside out, revealing the truth of the word. There was a real sense of the Lord inhabiting the praises of His people.

May 19th    We were asked as Pisgah HOP to take part in www. thejourneyfromescalls.co.uk see the link for the Olympic Torch Praise Bus on the LINKS PAGE. This is a vision of Escalls Chapel in Lands End to raise up a torch of prayer praise and worship in front of the Olympic torch relay for 70 days around the British Isles. A bus has been hired and re-painted for the occasion. The journey will take 70 days and we have been asked to participate in leg from Llanelli to Aberystwyth on Pentecost Sunday 27th May. This is also Global Day of Prayer 2012.

This particular evening we prayed for this and for the land and we praised the name of the Lord.

May 26th    This evening was dedicated to praying for Wales as we were setting off the day after on our prayer/praise journey, lifting a flame of the Lord across the land. Like the Olympic torch Lev 6:12,13 says  12 The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it. 13 The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.  AMEN.

Isaiah 62 carries the scripture for prayer as a parallel of raising the land of Wales as a blazing torch as we also pray for Israel.

A lady called Judy came to Pisgah with Mavis and Colin. Went to live in N.Carolina She had been living in Jerusalem for 12 years. She is a seer. She refers to angels as the airforce. She belongs to the 24/7 group in Jerusalem praying re the Kings Highway  Egypt through to Iran.. In a prayer meeting spoke to the couple next to her. When they said they were from UK, Judy then had this vision.

She was looking down on the UK. She saw fires streaming around the coast of Wales. They went right round the coast of UK. She saw fires simmering. Humungous colours of fire. Saw UK shaking with the power of God. This is going to happen very soon.  Romans 11. This is the last remaining revival. It is going to happen for certain.. 'I have come from Zion and am bringing you the word of God from Jerusalem' she said.

Get your bibles ready. Know your verses of scripture regard salvation. Have your word in your hip pocket ready. Be prepared. The harvesters are going to overtake the sowers. You won't be bringing one person at a time, like a cowboy lassoing one cow but you will be bringing them in by their herds. God will bring the nations here as they speak English.

She was passing our meeting place with Mavis and Colin early when travelling back from Moriah and saw a 40ft angel on the castle wall. Hands were resting on swords, looking right and left with a double edged sword. We have an airforce with us. Know your authority and power. Put on your armour. Greater is he that is in us than he in the world.

Ephesians 2 being seated with him in high places.

Be full of the Spirit, use your prayer language. There are signs of warrior angels all around us. There is nothing bigger or stronger than our God.

Mavis

Arise and Shine...we've got the torch. 70 days canopy of praise and prayer is happening now. Churches are coming into agreement. Remember ps 133  God's blessing. Declaration was spoken over Swansea/Loughor.  'I am alive for evermore'. The prayer of blessing was prayed out.

  February 2012

Feb 4th   During the week we met a man whose life had been dominated by this verse John 11:35, Jesus wept. God was confirming His word in the natural to us, that He was about to stir us to greater intercession in our land. He was pouring on us a Spirit of Grace and supplication upon us the House of David. Hos 12:10.

The words of Luke 19:41 say that Jesus beheld the city and wept over it. We are to weep over Jerusalem and stand as watchmen on the walls, day and night not being silent until He establishes Jerusalem and makes Her the praise of the earth. Is 62:6, 7? Joel 2 says " 17 Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the portico and the altar. Let them say, “Spare your people, LORD".

Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’” We prayed for Israel, for the lost the treasures hidden in darkness for the young people in the land.

The Lord spoke scriptures form the psalms encouraging us to continue praying this year so that we would receive all that He has promised, the joy of seeing the lost come to Christ, young and old. Ps 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favour lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Ps 126 4 Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like streams in the Negev. 5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.   We prayed in to all these scriptures and were blessed richly when we drew close to the Lord in worship.

Feb 11th This phrase seemed to permeate the atmosphere during this meeting:- "Release the Fullness of Your promise". As we prayed we called things into being into the fullness.

2 Peter 1: 3-11 talks about 'participating in the Divine nature by heeding the very great and precious promises He has given to us. Then we add to these character, which stops us being unproductive in our faith. If we don't forget that we have been cleansed of our past sins, and do the things in this passage we are promised that we will never fall and we will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

When we prayed for all different things we prayed for the fullness of His promise to be revealed. We sang 'Release the Fullness of Your Spirit, Shekinah Glory Come'. His presence came and the Lord released faith in His promises.

The whole evening we asked for the Lord to 'Pass through the Gates'. Is 62:10. Psalm 24. Is 45: 1-5

We stand on the gateway to Loughor where the Lord once visited mightily. We were asking and ushering in His presence.   John 10: 1-10 states

1“Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” 6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.

7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them.

9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

We as gatekeepers in the land (verse 3) can open the gates for the Great shepherd to come to speak His words to the sheep that will hear His voice. Mal 3:1  “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty.

Haggai 2  6 “This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.

7 I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD Almighty. 8 ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the LORD Almighty.

9 ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty.”

We were consumed by His presence as we prayed and worshipped him. May He continue to come in His manifest abiding presence once more to our land.

Feb 18th  A few of our younger army of prayer, worship warriors turned up tonight. We had a great time of worship followed by praying through the whole of psalm 18 which was laid out around the room. this took up well over an hour and had us focussed on the promises he wants to release in our lives, others lives and the nations of the world. Te presence of god began to increase. we had a couple of testimonies of the way God had intervened in the lives of the people we had prayed for the week before,. Thank You Lord.

The day before I imagined a pool of Bethesda in the Hall as I was driving by it. I felt that we needed to ask the Lord to come for the powerless, the infirm, and the paralytics in our world to visit them and heal them. I was amazed to read the account in John 5.

1 Afterward Jesus returned to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish holy days. 2 Inside the city, near the Sheep Gate, was the pool of Bethesda, with five covered porches. 3 Crowds of sick people—blind, lame, or paralyzed—lay on the porches. 4 for an angel of the Lord came from time to time and stirred up the water. And the first person to step in after the water was stirred was healed of whatever disease he had.  5 One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?”

7 “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.”

8 Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!”

9 Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking! But this miracle happened on the Sabbath.

This pool was by the sheep gate. we as watchmen can ask the Lord to come and speak, meet and heal his people around the Temple porches. What an honour he has given us. what a calling!

We formed a circle around the pool and asked the Lord to come. Some of us were profoundly touched and moved to tears. Some felt joy, some felt peace. We felt that Jesus was walking around washing our feet, preparing us for service like Jesus did with Peter. Unless you allow me to wash your feet then you will not be fit to do what I have called you to. One of us saw a fountain being released. We worshipped with various songs 'Here is Love vast as the Ocean' and 'Open the floodgates of heaven'. We went half an hour over time and it was hard to finish.

Yes the Lord says as we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us.

Feb25th  This week we prayed through psalm 144. The Lord had impressed on us the story of the friends who took the paralytic to Jesus feet, lowering him down through the temple roof. Jesus said it was because of their faith this man was healed and forgiven. The Lord was encouraging us to persist in bringing the people before him in prayer without ceasing. Because of our persistence in prayer and faith He would heal and forgive those we brought before him. We prayed for many people we knew in this condition.
